About the Training for Life Campus Capital Campaign

The overall budget for the Training for Life Campus is $18.5M.  Included in this amount is the donation of 16 acres of land in Jefferson City (or $3.2M) that the Campus will be built on.  The Training for Life Campus project is a 34,000 square foot building that contains a Sports & Recreation Arena, including a full gym.   Right now, we are working on raising the remaining $1.5M for the outdoor fields and sports equipment.

Outdoor facilities include practice soccer fields, bocce ball courts, tennis courts, softball field, track, horseshoe pits, shotput and long jump, golf skills, Law Enforcement Torch Run Plaza, pavilion, and tribute trail. Our goal is to officially wrap up this capital campaign by December 31, 2017.  Still have questions? Naming opportunities throughout the Campus are still available. To learn more about the generous tax credits that are available, or wish to explore naming opportunities, please contact Laurie Shadoan at (913) 789-0353, or email shadoan@somo.org to discuss in confidence.
