This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by walking, running, rolling, or crawling in this race. 

In 2021, Lake of the Ozarks Polar Bear Strut had 56 participants and raised more than $4,000! This one-of-a-kind event promises a fun atmosphere complete with music, funny costumes, and lasting memories for everyone!

Registration: 9 a.m.
Race: 10 a.m.

Participants must raise a minimum of $50 by event day. The Polar Bear Strut is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run(R) for Special Olympics Missouri. Osage Beach PD is proud to host this event.

Polar Plunge and the Polar Bear Strut are family friendly events. Special Olympics Missouri promotes inclusion as a way of life for not only our athletes but everyone at our events. We reserve the right to ask anyone to alter/remove their costume if found offensive or harmful to those in attendance.
