Go Team Missouri Women's 3 on 3 Basketball!

WOW! I am so excited to be going to Florida to play basketball for Team Missouri! I have been competing with Special Olympics for 13 years - but this is my first time to be chosen for the USA Games. It was an honor to be selected. I have started training. I am walking one mile a day, working out with a personal trainer, eating healthy, drinking water, and practicing with my team.

Special Olympics Missouri is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. More than 15,000 athletes participate in 21 Olympic-type sports throughout the state. Special Olympics provides people with intellectual disabilities continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy. By participating in or donating to one of our fundraising events, you open a world of opportunity for our athletes.
